Road Closure Notification Saturday April 5th 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Dear Plumstead Resident: Due to the Great Grizzly Run on Saturday, April 5, 2008 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM the following streets will be closed to traffic: Stump Road (between 611 and Potters Lane); Potters Lane; Curly Hill Road (between Potters Lane. and Meetinghouse Rd.) Meetinghouse Road and Craigs View The Plumstead Fire Police will position themselves throughout the racecourse to direct traffic towards detoured routes. Should you need to drive on the roads during the event, we ask that you yield to all runners and walkers and use extreme caution. Below is a schedule of road closure times. The times are approximate. Please plan accordingly. This race is a community event. We hope you will come out and join the walk/run and all of the festivities at the Plumstead Fire Hall. All proceeds will benefit Groveland Elementary School's Wellness Program and the Plumstead Volunteer Fire Company. Registration forms and information regarding the event can be found on our web-site: www.greatgrizzlyrun.com; at Groveland Elementary School and the Plumstead Township building. Approximate Road Closure Schedule: " 8:00: Stump Road; Meetinghouse Road and Craigs View will be closed " 9:00: 1 Mile Fun Run begins. Route is south on Meetinghouse, around Craigs View with the finish line back at the Fire house on Meetinghouse Rd. " 9:15: Potters Lane; Curly Hill and Meetinghouse Road will be closed. " 9:30: 5K race begins on Stump Road. Runners and Walkers travel east on Stump Road; south on Potters Lane; west on Curly Hill Rd.; north on Meetinghouse Rd. " 10:30: Potters Lane and Curly Hill will open as soon as the course is clear of all race participants. " 11:00 Meetinghouse Road and Stump Rd. will open upon Fire Police approval.
